Survival and Causes of death in pediatric heart transplant
Median survival after pediatric heart transplant depends on the age at the moment of the transplant. Survival in pediatrics recipient is longer than adults. In recipients less than 1 year of life median survival (years) is 24.5; in recipients 1-6 years is 20.2 (See Figure below).
